[목적] 본 연구는 핀란드 수어사전 분석을 통해 한국형 골프 수어 개발을 위한 기초자료를 확보하고자 하는목적으로 진행되었다. [방법] 이를 위해 한국형 골프 수어 개발에 활용할 수 있는 핀란드 골프 수어는 무엇인가?’라는 연구 문제를 설정하고 분석기준에 의한 분류로 첫째, 핀란드 골프 수어 중 한국 농인이 직관적으로이해할 수 있는 용어, 둘째, 핀란드 골프 수어 중 기준 골프 수어만 알고 있으면 쉽게 응용할 수 있는 용어, 셋째, 핀란드 골프 수어 중 일반수어를 활용하여 만든 용어, 넷째, 핀란드 골프 수어 중 골프 경기하는 상황을 활용하여 만든 용어로 분류하고 핀란드 수어사전에 수록된 42개의 골프 수어를 분석하였다. [결과] 분석결과, 핀란드 골프 수어 중 한국 농인들이 직관적으로 이해할 수 있는 용어는 13개, 기준 골프 수어 알고 있으면 쉽게 응용할 수 있는 용어는 6개, 핀란드 일반수어를 활용하여 골프 수어로 만든 용어는 4개, 골프 경기하는 상황을 활용하여 만든 용어는 13개, 기타 용어는 6개인 것으로 나타났다. [결론] 본 연구 결과는 골프수어가 부재한 국내 상황 속에서 한국형 골프 수어 개발 시에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 본 연구에서 분석한 용어 외에도 농인들이 활용할 수 있는 더 많은 골프 수어가 개발되는 초석이 될 수 있을 것으로기대한다.
[Objective] The purpose of this study was to procure fundamental data to support the development of Korean golf sign language based on analysis of Finnish sign language dictionaries and to determine whether Finnish golf sign language may be used for this purpose. The study was divided as follows: 1) Finnish golf sign language that can be intuitively understood by Korean deaf people; 2) Finnish golf sign language that can be easily applied once the standard golf sign language is known; 3) Finnish golf sign language that was created using general sign language, and 4) Finnish golf sign language that was created based on golfing scenarios and the analysis of 42 golf sign words that are included in the Finnish Sign Language Dictionary. [Results] The analysis identified 13 terms that Korean deaf people can intuitively understand among Finnish golf sign languages, 6 terms that can be easily applied once standard golf sign language is known, 4 terms incorporated into golf sign language using Finnish general sign language, 13 terms created using golf playing scenarios, and 6 other terms. [Conclusion] The study’s findings may serve as fundamental data for the development of Korean golf sign language in the absence of golf sign language in Korea, and it is expected that the study will serve as a cornerstone for the further development of a golf sign language that deaf people may used in addition to the terms analyzed in this study.
